We are delighted to introduce and welcome you the Andrews Memorial website and are thrilled that you are visiting us.
Our school is committed to providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can develop academically, socially and emotionally.
At Andrews Memorial Primary School, we believe that every child is unique and has the potential to achieve their dreams.

Our dedicated and talented staff are passionate about their role and are committed to fostering a love for learning in every pupil. In Andrews Memorial we are proud of providing a broad, balanced and inspiring education capturing creativity and enquiry within the Northern Ireland Curriculum.
Our great school is not only a place of academic learning; it is a place where friendships are formed, skills are honed, and character is built.
Our buildings are built upon our great history and links with our Titanic Heritage, which we are incredibly proud of. Currently our building consists of:
- 14 classrooms with interactive whiteboards
- Activity areas in each base for play/activity/skills-based learning for pupils
- Assembly Hall/PE Hall
- Fabulous fully stocked library
- Wonderful Digihub with laptops, desktop computers and iPad/tablets
- Wonderful peaceful sensory room
Our school grounds, individual classrooms and outdoor areas are well equipped with great emphasis placed on high quality teaching and learning and play related learning and externally we have brilliant outdoor playground accommodation which helps use encourage active thinking, learning and physical activity.
We offer a wide and balanced curriculum, provided by staff who work hard to ensure that the children the highest quality of teaching and learning in a supportive and caring environment.
At Andrews Memorial we pride ourselves on our huge array of after school activities on offer – evidence of which you can see celebrated continually on our school facebook page.
We continually try to look for ways to help our families and have a waiting 2-3pm club for the younger siblings and also organise a breakfast club from 8:00am to 8:40am to help with those much needed drop offs for working parents.
Pupils gain many opportunities to become leaders in school through our many programmes such as: school council, eco council, digital leaders, sport captains, bike it crew… the list goes on!
