Principal's Welcome

Welcome to Andrews Memorial Primary School!

We’re delighted to welcome you to our school website and thrilled that you’re taking the time to visit us.

At Andrews Memorial, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe every child is unique and full of potential — and we strive to help each one achieve their dreams.

Our dedicated and passionate staff work hard to foster a love of learning in every pupil. We offer a broad, balanced, and inspiring curriculum that encourages creativity, curiosity, and personal growth, all within the framework of the Northern Ireland Curriculum.

But our school is more than just a place of learning — it’s a vibrant community where friendships are formed, skills are developed, and character is built. We’re proud of our rich history and strong links to Titanic heritage, which are reflected in our school buildings and ethos.

Our facilities include:
- 14 classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards
- Activity areas for play and skills-based learning
- A spacious Assembly/PE Hall
- A fully stocked library
- A modern DigiHub with laptops, desktops, iPads, and tablets
- A peaceful sensory room
- Well-equipped outdoor areas and playgrounds that promote active learning and physical development

We also offer a wide range of after-school activities, regularly celebrated on our school Facebook page. To support our families, we provide a 2–3pm waiting club for P1-P3 pupils and a breakfast club from 8:00–8:40am to help with busy mornings.

Leadership opportunities are a key part of life at Andrews Memorial. Pupils can take part in initiatives such as the School Council, Eco Council, Digital Leaders, Sports Captains, and Bike It Crew — just to name a few!

We are a busy, friendly school with lots happening every day. We hope you enjoy exploring our website and find all the information you need. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Choosing the right primary school is an important decision, and we look forward to partnering with you to provide the very best education for your child.

Kind regards,

Mr Colin Fulton
