WedNEWSday Sway 23 October 2024
Good afternoon parents,
What a very busy morning we had today in school! We have a multitude of the most well crafted and designed pumpkins in all of Comber! What a fabulous effort from you all! In a world where children are surrounded by screens and electronics, it is wonderful to see the result of some precious art time for children and their families.
We have some more to come this week too as our PTA have organised the a family quiz tomorrow night; it will be lovely to see you along if you are free.
PSNI visited school today and have asked me to share two pdfs regarding road safety (the quality isn't great). I have attached both on email plus our Andrews Memorial reminder email which I would send home each term. Ultimately, we want to ensure all our children are safe in and around school grounds and we need your help to do this well.
This will be the last sway for the term and I would like to wish our pupils a very relaxing Halloween break. Please make sure everyone stays safe especially as it is a time of trick or treating and fireworks.
Final thanks to your special staff at AMPS too.
They are a fabulous team and all the Teaching and Non-Teaching staff try their very best to ensure we continue to have high standards of teaching and learning, pastoral care and safeguarding for all our pupils. They will enjoy their holiday too!
Have a lovely week, everyone!
