Hello to all our AMPS Family,

IT IS JUNE!

Contrary to popular belief, SCHOOLS DO NOT WIND DOWN IN JUNE!

Your brilliant AMPS Staff are still embarking on lots of active learning!

We have our P7 pupils away in Edinburgh and they are having a great time.

Plans are well in motion for our AMPS Summer Fair too.

Many thanks are owed to the PTA Committee for all their hard work this year. Please show your support for them at the summer fair this year.

We also welcome our new P1 pupils along this month for the first time and are so excited to see a new members of the AMPS family joining us.

P1 Placement email error

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We wish to bring to your attention an issue regarding the release of Pre-School and P1 placement outcomes. The Education Authority (E.A.) has inadvertently released a number of placement decisions ahead of the scheduled notification date of Wednesday, 9th April.

Schools were not given prior notice of this situation and we appreciate that this may cause confusion and concern for some families if your child has not been awarded a place, or indeed if an email has not been received.

We expect EA Admissions to provide communication and clarification this morning which will be relayed to parents once received. If you have any questions or concerns please refer these to the EA primary admissions team via primaryadmissions@eani.org.uk . Due to the magnitude of this issue however a timely response should not be expected.
