We have had a lot of firsts in Primary 1 this month! We have been visiting the Digi-Hub and the library for the first time.
In the Digi-Hub, we have been learning to control the mouse to move the cursor across the screen and click. We have enjoyed playing a variety of games on Tizzy's Toybox.
In the library, we heard a lovely story about The Large Family, then we had the chance to choose some books to 'read' ourselves. Our librarians read us some stories too and had the library looking wonderful, waiting for us to visit!
This week, we had a lovely visit from Nanny from Mount Stewart. She told us all about Mary who she looked after and all of the toys she loved to play with many years ago. We had the opportunity to play with some toys from the past - they are very different to the toys we play with nowadays! None of them used batteries or electricity and lots of them were made from wood. It was fun learning how to play with them and make them work.
