P4 Home Learning 1/6/20-5/6/20

Hello again P4 and welcome to June!

We are still wishing we were all together and enjoying the run up to the end of the school year. Sadly we are not, so here are the activities for this week. As always, just try to do your best and remember to choose the activities which suit you best. Not too difficult, not too easy, just right for you!

We’ll start with the planner…

Spellings

Week 30, would you believe! Continue with your daily spelling activities and use the sound story to help.

Literacy

This week’s Literacy pack has your spelling sentences (choose the one which suits you best). We have also put a Titanic newspaper activity on for you to try. We’ve been practising using antonyms, synonyms and homophones correctly, so you’ll find some of those activities as well. Just do what you can.

Here’s a reminder…

Mental Maths and Numeracy

The Mental Maths sheets are slightly different this week. There are three to choose from and the questions are difficult on the third one. Please chose the ones which suit you best. The answers are included too.

This week you will find some multiplication revision sums to practise and some new work called Rounding. There is also some calendar work – this is new too. Just try your best.

ICT

Please send us an email to say hello! We have heard from some of you, but not all. We’d love to hear from you! We reply to all emails. p4@andrewmps.com

WAU and PDMU

The Olympic Games were due to take place in Tokyo this summer, but have been moved to 2021. They will still be known as the 2020 Olympics though! Here is a PowerPoint to help you find out how they started. We’ve also added a few activities, you could pretend you have won a medal – decorate it for yourself! The last Olympic Games were in Rio, Brazil in 2016. These is a sheet about that too. Can you remember them? You would only have been four years old then…

We hope you have a good week!
