We are delighted to have you all back in school and hope you like your new classrooms! We are so proud of you all and how well you have adapted to our new routine. Well done with coming in on your own – you cheer us up with your gorgeous smiles as you come through the door!
This page will let you know what your Spellings and Tables homework is each week. We sent your Spelling Activity books, spellings list (see A4 file) and tables list home with you today. Please keep these books and lists at home so that you can do your activities.
Spellings
Session 1 List 1
This week your spellings are all about the sounds made by double letters – ff/ll/ss/zz. You will also have a list of topic and sight words.
Look inside your Spelling Activity Book. You will see the P4 Memory Menu. On Monday to Wednesday, choose a Memory Activity to help you to learn the spellings each night and complete it in your Activity Book. Thursday night is revision night so you won’t need to do another activity – just test yourself to see if you can remember how to spell the words you have learned. Then we will ask you them on Friday in school.
Tables
This week you will be learning the multiplying by 2 tables we have been practising in class.
Monday night – Sheet 1 A. Tuesday night – Sheet 1 B. Wednesday night – Sheet 1 A and B. Thursday night Sheet 1 A and B.
