P5 Home Learning 22/6/20-26/6/20

Hello P5

Welcome to your last full week of home learning! You will probably be glad, and your parents will be even happier! Thank you so much to all of your parents for everything they have been doing to support you through this unsettling time. We know lots of parents are trying to do their own jobs as well as helping you with your learning – not easy. We know this is not how school should be. Look out for the P5 Lockdown Photograph Display Miss Cranston is putting together – lovely memories sure to make you smile!

Here is the P5 planner for this week.

Literacy

This week is all about your memories and experiences of P5 and what a year it has been! We know we didn’t get to the end of our P5 year together, but try to think back and record your memories in this end of year booklet. You will have plenty of memories of school up to the point lockdown began so try to write about those – best memory, funniest memory, achievements etc. Don’t forget about moving classrooms when the roof needed to be fixed!

Numeracy

This week is all about revision – more memories! There is a mixture of activities for you to try: Colour by number, Symmetry, Fractions, Coordinates, Money, Time, Number Puzzles and Code Breaking. Give it a go and see what you can remember!

ICT

Please finish your Ancient Egyptians gods and goddesses document if you haven’t already. Most importantly, stay in touch with us!

PDMU

It has been difficult at times to stay happy during lockdown. We have missed our family and friends, we have missed doing the activities we love, and going to the places we love. It is perfectly natural to feel like this. Here is a very short activity about the happy brain and the sad brain.
