Motivational Monday

Since it’s Monday, don’t forget to get in touch with another classmate and give them an encouraging message to see them through their week ahead!

Literacy

This week, we are aiming to improve our spelling, grammar and punctuation self-correction skills by reading some real celebrity tweets and correcting any errors:

Hopefully you’ve managed to produce a Beyond the Door fantasy narrative over the past few weeks. If so, we’d love you to email them to us to read, or upload onto NewsDesk! Here’s a new writing project to get stuck into over the next few weeks – a Persuasive Advert! Have a look at tasks 1 and 2:

Keep up the leisure reading, and for comprehension continue looking at NewsDesk articles that interest you, along with their discussion questions. Search for the article “Is lockdown rebooting nature?” this week which might intrigue you.

The phonetic spelling sound for this week is the “f” sound (f/ff/ph/gh)

Numeracy
