WedNEWSday 25 March 2026
Good afternoon parents,
This is our final WedNEWSday Sway for March! It’s hard to believe how quickly the month has passed, but it’s lovely to see the brighter evenings, the daffodils peeking through, and even the hint of some warmth in the air — despite the snow and hail this morning!
You may have noticed the work happening at the front of the school. A huge thank you to Mr. Kerr, who has been working hard to develop a new Reflective Garden in this space. We plan to add benches, planters, and create a tranquil area for visitors or staff to enjoy — especially on sunny lunch breaks.
We are still awaiting a visit from the EA Gardeners to help freshen up our green areas. Unfortunately, the recent challenging weather has delayed their work, but we hope they’ll be with us soon.
Thank you also to our fantastic teachers and classroom assistants who have been arriving early each morning to organise and accompany the Walking Buses as part of the Big Walk and Wheel initiative. The pupils are loving it so far! We really appreciate staff walking with P1–P3 pupils and supporting any children who are scooting or cycling — this greatly helps reduce risk and keeps everyone safe.
Just a reminder that school will finish for all pupils at 12.10pm on Friday.
It’s always a particularly busy day for traffic and parking, so we kindly ask everyone to park safely and respectfully, especially around our residents and neighbours.
