Good afternoon everyone,
Welcome to this week’s WedNEWSday Sway.
Today certainly got off to a gloomy start – we were all greeted by Mr Dugan and a rather triumphant group of Arsenal fans in full celebration! Unfortunately, the weather didn’t improve matters, with Sports Day having to be postponed. Although the sun made a brief appearance, the rain soon followed, and with the risk of slipping and injury, the decision was made in the best interests of everyone’s safety. Fingers crossed that our rearranged date of 10 June brings the sunshine we deserve!
Next week, our P6 and P7 pupils head off to the Share Centre for three nights of adventure, fun and friendship. With such a large group attending, we are incredibly grateful to the staff who have so willingly given their time to ensure the trip runs smoothly and safely. We look forward to seeing the updates and photographs throughout the week—please keep an eye on Facebook for these.
Not to be outdone, our P5 pupils are also looking forward to their own exciting trip to Ganaway for a day of fun and adventure. It’s safe to say there is great excitement building across the school!
