Special Educational Needs

Each teacher will provide a full programme of work for all children in their class, differentiated according to all abilities in the class.  Where pupils with special educational needs are identified, they will be allocated individual learning programmes in literacy and /or numeracy by the class teacher in consultation with the Special Needs Coordinator.

Regular monitoring of pupil’s progress is carried.  Home-school links and parental consultations are an integral part of the process.

Wherever necessary, advice and support is sought from the Educational Psychology Section of the SEELB.
